Choosing to fight against hunger, poverty and diseases in the world

Society has reached a watershed if we want to meet the previously mentioned health targets and the eight Millennium Development Goals : (1) reducing by half extreme worldwide poverty and (2) world hunger, (3) reducing children’s death rate, (4) improving mothers’ health and (5) fighting against VIH and AIDS, (6) tuberculosis and (7) malaria, in order to guarantee sustainable environment and health thanks to (8) primary prevention and education. These goals make up a plan approved in 2000 by every country in the world and the main development institutions.

ISDE’s goal is therefore to create a global alliance at the medical and scientific level in order to improve human development, particularly children’s health.
