The syllabus takes into account the above mentioned new guidelines. It complies with the recommendations of an ad hoc international scientific committee that was created to that effect. It is based on theoretical data resulting from the most recent scientific breakthroughs and the experience of environmental medicine as it is practiced in a few European countries. Although it is not yet officially recognized  in Europe, environmental medicine is based on science, strictly adhering to the objectivity principle; also to the Hippocratic oath, from a moral viewpoint.
This first intensive course will take place this year on April 13, 14 and 15  2011, in Paris, with a view of setting up, in years to come, an academic course in environmental medicine in a European University.  

In order to guarantee the high standards of this course, several international specialists have been invited to speak, which is why some presentations will be in English.
